The Herbs
Plantain Leaf: soothing to enflamed tissue, aids in clearing toxins from the liver
Fennell: reduces gas and increases intestinal muscle movement
Cinnamon: stimulates gastric juices and stomach acids, reduces bloat, feeds beneficial bacteria in the gut
Clove: regulated enzyme secretion, reduces bloating and nausea
How to Use
Enjoy 1 tsp up to 4 times daily. Stir a spoonful into your teas or coffees. Drizzle it on toast, oatmeal, fresh fruit, or in a smoothie.
Loose herbs and air bubbles will float to the surface, simply give your honey a mix before enjoying and strain beverages for a smoother texture if you wish.
Contraindications
Raw Honey: Should not be consumed by children under 1 year of age. May not be ideal for those with insulin resistance, diabetes, or other blood sugar regulation problems
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare): Fennel is possibly unsafe for breast feeding infants. Do not take when breastfeeding. Fennel might act like estrogen. If you have a hormone-sensitive condition that might be made worse by estrogen, fennel is not recommended.
